Pendify – Pendimethalin 30% EC
Pendify is a herbicide manufactured by MaxxGro Agrology Limited, containing Pendimethalin 30% as an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation. It is used as a pre-emergence herbicide for controlling weeds such as Echinochloa spp., Euphorbia spp., Amaranthus viridis, Portulaca oleracea, Trianthema spp. and Eleusine indica in soybean. Pendimethalin is a dinitroaniline herbicide absorbed by the roots and shoots of germinating weeds.
Pendimethalin 30% EC is also registered for use in wheat, rice, cotton and pigeon pea. As an emulsifiable concentrate, Pendify is diluted in water before spray application, and should be used strictly as per the crop, dose, timing and weed recommendations on the approved product label.

Pendimethalin is a dinitroaniline herbicide that inhibits microtubule assembly in plant cells, disrupting mitotic cell division in the roots and shoots of germinating weeds. This prevents normal root and shoot development, leading to the death of susceptible weed seedlings before or shortly after emergence. Pendimethalin is classified under HRAC/WSSA Group 3 (microtubule assembly inhibitors).
Pendify (Pendimethalin 30% EC) is diluted in the recommended volume of water and applied as a pre-emergence spray to the soil surface in soybean, using standard knapsack or boom sprayers, following the approved product label.
