Quizomaxx – Quizalofop-Ethyl 5% EC
Quizomaxx is a herbicide manufactured by MaxxGro Agrology Limited, containing Quizalofop-Ethyl 5% as an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation. It is used for the post-emergence control of grassy weeds such as Echinochloa crusgalli, Echinochloa colonum and Eragrostis sp. in soybean. Quizalofop-ethyl is an aryloxyphenoxypropionate herbicide selective for grasses in broad-leaved crops.
Quizalofop-Ethyl 5% EC is also registered for use in cotton, groundnut, black gram and onion. As an emulsifiable concentrate, Quizomaxx is diluted in water before spray application, and should be used strictly as per the crop, dose, timing and weed recommendations on the approved product label.

- Contains Quizalofop-Ethyl 5% as the active ingredient
- Formulated as an Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC)
- Herbicide category product for weed management
- Registered use in soybean, among other listed crops
- Selective, post-emergence control of grassy weeds in broad-leaved crops
- Systemic, ACCase-inhibiting mode of action
Quizalofop-ethyl is an aryloxyphenoxypropionate (FOP) herbicide that inhibits the enzyme acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase), which is required for fatty acid biosynthesis in grasses. Inhibition of this enzyme halts lipid synthesis in meristematic tissue, leading to growth cessation and death of susceptible grassy weeds, while broad-leaved crops such as soybean remain unaffected. Quizalofop-ethyl is classified under HRAC/WSSA Group 1 (ACCase inhibitors).
Quizomaxx (Quizalofop-Ethyl 5% EC) is diluted in the recommended volume of water and applied as a post-emergence foliar spray to actively growing grassy weeds in soybean, using standard knapsack or boom sprayers, following the approved product label.
- Use strictly as per the directions on the approved product label
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment during mixing and spraying
- Avoid spray drift onto sensitive or non-target crops
- Keep out of reach of children and away from food, feed, and water sources
- Store in a cool, dry place in original packaging
