Altroz – Azoxystrobin 11% + Tebuconazole 18.3% w/w SC
Altroz is a fungicide manufactured by MaxxGro Agrology Limited, containing Azoxystrobin 11% and Tebuconazole 18.3% w/w as a suspension concentrate (SC) formulation. It is used for the control of Fruit rot, Powdery mildew and Die-back in chilli. Azoxystrobin and Tebuconazole act through two different mechanisms to inhibit fungal growth.
Azoxystrobin 11% + Tebuconazole 18.3% w/w SC is also registered for use in rice, onion, apple, wheat, tomato, potato and grape. As a suspension concentrate, Altroz is diluted in water before spray application, and should be used strictly as per the crop, disease, dose and timing recommendations on the approved product label.

- Contains Azoxystrobin 11% + Tebuconazole 18.3% as active ingredients
- Formulated as a Suspension Concentrate (SC)
- Fungicide category product for disease management
- Registered use in chilli, among other listed crops
- Controls fruit rot, powdery mildew and die-back
- Dual mode of action: respiration inhibition and ergosterol biosynthesis inhibition
This combination product acts through two complementary mechanisms. Azoxystrobin is a strobilurin (QoI) fungicide that inhibits fungal mitochondrial respiration by blocking electron transfer at the cytochrome bc1 complex (FRAC Group 11). Tebuconazole is a triazole (DMI) fungicide that inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis by blocking the 14α-demethylase enzyme, disrupting fungal cell membrane formation (FRAC Group 3). Together, they provide broad-spectrum, dual-mode disease control.
Altroz (Azoxystrobin 11% + Tebuconazole 18.3% w/w SC) is diluted in the recommended volume of water and applied as a foliar spray in chilli, using standard knapsack or boom sprayers, following the approved product label.
