Fyzox – Pendimethalin 30% + Imazethapyr 2% EC
Fyzox is a herbicide manufactured by MaxxGro Agrology Limited, containing Pendimethalin 30% and Imazethapyr 2% as an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation. It is used for the control of weeds such as Echinochloa crusgalli, Digera arvensis, Commelina benghalensis, Amaranthus viridis and Portulaca oleracea in soybean. Pendimethalin and Imazethapyr act through two complementary modes of action, together controlling a broad spectrum of grassy and broad-leaved weeds.
As an emulsifiable concentrate, Fyzox is diluted in water before spray application. The product is intended for use strictly as per the approved crop, weed, dose and timing recommendations on the product label for soybean.

This combination product acts through two complementary mechanisms. Pendimethalin, a dinitroaniline herbicide, inhibits microtubule assembly, disrupting cell division in germinating weed roots and shoots (HRAC/WSSA Group 3). Imazethapyr, an imidazolinone herbicide, inhibits the acetolactate synthase (ALS) enzyme, blocking branched-chain amino acid biosynthesis (HRAC/WSSA Group 2). Together, they provide combined pre-emergence and early post-emergence weed control in soybean.
Fyzox (Pendimethalin 30% + Imazethapyr 2% EC) is diluted in the recommended volume of water and applied as a uniform spray in soybean, using standard knapsack or boom sprayers, following the timing recommended on the approved product label.
