Hexxon – Hexaconazole 5% EC
Hexxon is a fungicide manufactured by MaxxGro Agrology Limited, containing Hexaconazole 5% as an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation. It is used for the control of Blast and Sheath blight in rice (paddy). Hexaconazole is a systemic triazole fungicide that inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis in fungal pathogens.
Hexaconazole 5% EC is also registered for use in apple, groundnut and mango. As an emulsifiable concentrate, Hexxon is diluted in water before spray application, and should be used strictly as per the crop, disease, dose and timing recommendations on the approved product label.

Hexaconazole is a triazole (DMI) fungicide that inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis by blocking the 14α-demethylase enzyme, which is required for fungal cell membrane formation. This disrupts membrane integrity and normal fungal growth. Hexaconazole is systemic and is classified under FRAC Group 3 (DMI fungicides).
Hexxon (Hexaconazole 5% EC) is diluted in the recommended volume of water and applied as a foliar spray in rice, using standard knapsack or boom sprayers, following the approved product label.
