Maxx-up – Glyphosate 41% SL
Maxx-up is a herbicide manufactured by MaxxGro Agrology Limited, containing Glyphosate 41% (IPA salt) as a soluble liquid (SL) formulation. It is used for the control of weeds such as Arundinella bengalensis, Axonopus compressus, Cynodon dactylon, Imperata cylindrica, Paspalum scrobiculatum and Polygonum perfoliatum in tea. Glyphosate is a non-selective, systemic, post-emergence herbicide absorbed through foliage and translocated within the plant.
Glyphosate 41% SL is also registered for weed control in non-cropped areas. As a soluble liquid, Maxx-up is diluted in water before spray application, and should be used strictly as per the crop, dose, timing and weed recommendations on the approved product label.

- Non-selective, systemic, EPSP synthase-inhibiting mode of action
Glyphosate is a non-selective, systemic, post-emergence herbicide that is absorbed by plant foliage and translocated throughout the plant, including to the roots. It inhibits the enzyme 5-enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase (EPSP synthase) in the shikimic acid pathway, blocking the biosynthesis of the aromatic amino acids phenylalanine, tyrosine and tryptophan, which are essential for plant growth. Glyphosate is classified under HRAC/WSSA Group 9 (EPSP synthase inhibitors).
Maxx-up (Glyphosate 41% SL) is diluted in the recommended volume of water and applied as a directed foliar spray to actively growing weeds in tea, using standard knapsack or boom sprayers, following the approved product label.
- Use strictly as per the directions on the approved product label
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment during mixing and spraying
- Avoid spray drift onto sensitive or non-target crops
- Keep out of reach of children and away from food, feed, and water sources
- Store in a cool, dry place in original packaging
