Fenobucarb (BPMC) is a carbamate insecticide that inhibits the enzyme acetylcholinesterase, which is responsible for breaking down the neurotransmitter acetylcholine at nerve synapses. This inhibition causes acetylcholine to accumulate, leading to continuous nerve stimulation, paralysis and death of the target pest. Fenobucarb is classified under IRAC Group 1A (carbamates).
Fenomaxx (Fenobucarb (BPMC) 50% EC) is diluted in the recommended volume of water and applied as a foliar spray in rice, using standard knapsack or boom sprayers, following the approved product label.
