Ditenole – Dinotefuran 20% SG
Ditenole is an insecticide manufactured by MaxxGro Agrology Limited, containing Dinotefuran 20% as a water soluble granule (SG) formulation. It is used for the control of Whitefly, Jassids, Aphids and Thrips in cotton. Dinotefuran is a systemic neonicotinoid insecticide absorbed by the plant and translocated to actively growing tissue.
Dinotefuran 20% SG is also registered for use in rice (paddy) against brown plant hopper. As a water soluble granule, Ditenole is dissolved in water before spray application, and should be used strictly as per the crop, pest, dose and timing recommendations on the approved product label.

Dinotefuran is a neonicotinoid insecticide that binds to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChR) in the insect central nervous system. This causes continuous nerve excitation, leading to paralysis and death of the target pest. As a systemic compound, it is absorbed and translocated within the plant, providing protection against sap-sucking insects. Dinotefuran is classified under IRAC Group 4A (nicotinic acetylcholine receptor agonists).
Ditenole (Dinotefuran 20% SG) is dissolved in the recommended volume of water and applied as a foliar spray in cotton, using standard knapsack or boom sprayers, following the approved product label.
