Maxx-up 71 – Ammonium Salt of Glyphosate 71% SG
Maxx-up 71 is a herbicide manufactured by MaxxGro Agrology Limited, containing Ammonium Salt of Glyphosate 71% as a water soluble granule (SG) formulation. It is used for the control of weeds such as Acalypha indica, Ageratum conyzoides, Cichorium intybus, Digera arvensis, Cynodon dactylon, Cyperus rotundus, Digitaria sanguinalis, Eragrostis spp., Ipomoea digitata, Paspalum conjugatum and Sida acuta in tea and non-crop areas. Glyphosate is a non-selective, systemic, post-emergence herbicide absorbed through foliage.
As a water soluble granule, Maxx-up 71 is dissolved in water before spray application. The product is intended for use strictly as per the approved crop/area, weed, dose and timing recommendations on the product label.

Glyphosate (as its ammonium salt) is a non-selective, systemic, post-emergence herbicide that is absorbed by plant foliage and translocated throughout the plant, including to the roots. It inhibits the enzyme 5-enolpyruvylshikimate-3-phosphate synthase (EPSP synthase) in the shikimic acid pathway, blocking the biosynthesis of aromatic amino acids essential for plant growth. Glyphosate is classified under HRAC/WSSA Group 9 (EPSP synthase inhibitors).
Maxx-up 71 (Ammonium Salt of Glyphosate 71% SG) is dissolved in the recommended volume of water and applied as a directed foliar spray to actively growing weeds in tea and non-crop areas, using standard knapsack or boom sprayers, following the approved product label.
