Tavix – Tebuconazole + Sulphur 10% + 65% WG

Tavix is a fungicide manufactured by MaxxGro Agrology Limited, containing Tebuconazole 10% and Sulphur 65% as a water dispersible granule (WG) formulation. It is used for the control of Powdery mildew and Fruit rot in chilli. Tebuconazole and Sulphur act through two different mechanisms, providing combined systemic and multi-site protectant disease control.

Tebuconazole 10% + Sulphur 65% WG is also registered for use in soybean against leaf spot and pod blight. As a water dispersible granule, Tavix is mixed with water before spray application, and should be used strictly as per the crop, disease, dose and timing recommendations on the approved product label.

  • Contains Tebuconazole 10% + Sulphur 65% as active ingredients
  • Formulated as a Water Dispersible Granule (WG)
  • Fungicide category product for disease management
  • Registered use in chilli, among other listed crops
  • Controls powdery mildew and fruit rot
  • Dual mode of action: ergosterol biosynthesis inhibition and multi-site respiration disruption

This combination product acts through two complementary mechanisms. Tebuconazole is a triazole (DMI) fungicide that inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis by blocking the 14α-demethylase enzyme, disrupting fungal cell membrane formation (FRAC Group 3). Sulphur is a multi-site fungicide that disrupts fungal respiration and cellular metabolism through non-specific action, and is classified under FRAC Group M2. Together, they provide combined systemic and protectant disease control, particularly effective against powdery mildew.

Tavix (Tebuconazole 10% + Sulphur 65% WG) is mixed with the recommended volume of water and applied as a foliar spray in chilli, using standard knapsack or boom sprayers, following the approved product label.

  • Use strictly as per the directions on the approved product label
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment during mixing and spraying
  • Avoid spray drift onto sensitive or non-target crops
  • Keep out of reach of children and away from food, feed, and water sources
  • Store in a cool, dry place in original packaging
