Ziram is a dithiocarbamate fungicide that acts as a multi-site protectant, interfering with several enzyme systems involved in fungal cellular metabolism, in a manner similar to other dithiocarbamates such as mancozeb and propineb. Because it acts at multiple sites rather than a single target, Ziram is classified under FRAC Group M3 (dithiocarbamates), a group associated with a low risk of resistance development.
Zentora (Ziram 80% WP) is mixed with the recommended volume of water and applied as a protective foliar spray in potato, using standard knapsack or boom sprayers, following the approved product label.
- Use strictly as per the directions on the approved product label
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment during mixing and spraying
- Avoid spray drift onto sensitive or non-target crops
- Keep out of reach of children and away from food, feed, and water sources
- Store in a cool, dry place in original packaging
