Securr – Difenoconazole 25% EC
Securr is a fungicide manufactured by MaxxGro Agrology Limited, containing Difenoconazole 25% as an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation. It is used for the control of Sheath blight in rice (paddy). Difenoconazole is a systemic triazole fungicide that inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis in fungal pathogens.
Difenoconazole 25% EC is also registered for use in apple, chilli, cumin, onion and pomegranate. As an emulsifiable concentrate, Securr is diluted in water before spray application, and should be used strictly as per the crop, disease, dose and timing recommendations on the approved product label.

- Contains Difenoconazole 25% as the active ingredient
- Formulated as an Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC)
- Fungicide category product for disease management
- Registered use in rice, among other listed crops
- Controls sheath blight
- Systemic, ergosterol-biosynthesis-inhibiting mode of action
Difenoconazole is a triazole (DMI) fungicide that inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis by blocking the 14α-demethylase enzyme, which is required for fungal cell membrane formation. This disrupts membrane integrity and halts fungal growth. Difenoconazole is systemic and is classified under FRAC Group 3 (DMI fungicides).
Securr (Difenoconazole 25% EC) is diluted in the recommended volume of water and applied as a foliar spray in rice, using standard knapsack or boom sprayers, following the approved product label.
- Use strictly as per the directions on the approved product label
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment during mixing and spraying
- Avoid spray drift onto sensitive or non-target crops
- Keep out of reach of children and away from food, feed, and water sources
- Store in a cool, dry place in original packaging
