Melori – Metalaxyl + Mancozeb 8% + 64% WP
Melori is a fungicide manufactured by MaxxGro Agrology Limited, containing Metalaxyl 8% and Mancozeb 64% as a wettable powder (WP) formulation. It is used for the control of Downy mildew in grapes. Metalaxyl and Mancozeb act through two different mechanisms, providing combined systemic and protectant activity against oomycete pathogens.
As a wettable powder, Melori is mixed with water before spray application. The product is intended for use strictly as per the approved crop, disease, dose and timing recommendations on the product label for grapes.

This combination product acts through two complementary mechanisms. Metalaxyl is a phenylamide fungicide that inhibits RNA polymerase I in oomycete pathogens, blocking ribosomal RNA synthesis and halting pathogen growth (FRAC Group 4). Mancozeb is a dithiocarbamate fungicide that acts as a multi-site protectant, interfering with several enzyme systems in fungal cellular metabolism (FRAC Group M3). Together, they provide combined systemic and protectant control of downy mildew.
Melori (Metalaxyl 8% + Mancozeb 64% WP) is mixed with the recommended volume of water and applied as a foliar spray in grapes, using standard knapsack or boom sprayers, following the approved product label.
