Ekside – Bifenthrin 10% EC
Ekside ( Bifenthrin 10% EC ) is an insecticide manufactured by MaxxGro Agrology Limited, containing Bifenthrin 10% as an emulsifiable concentrate (EC) formulation. It is used for the control of Bollworms and Whitefly in cotton. Bifenthrin is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide that acts on the nervous system of susceptible insect pests.
Bifenthrin 10% EC is also registered for use in rice (paddy) and sugarcane. As an emulsifiable concentrate, Ekside is diluted in water before spray application, and should be used strictly as per the crop, pest, dose and timing recommendations on the approved product label.

Bifenthrin is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide that acts on voltage-gated sodium channels in insect nerve cell membranes, keeping the channels open and causing prolonged depolarization, repetitive nerve firing, paralysis and death of the target insect. Bifenthrin is classified under IRAC Group 3A (sodium channel modulators).
Ekside (Bifenthrin 10% EC) is diluted in the recommended volume of water and applied as a foliar spray in cotton, using standard knapsack or boom sprayers, following the approved product label.
