Imazethapyr is an imidazolinone herbicide that inhibits the acetolactate synthase (ALS) enzyme, which is required for the biosynthesis of the branched-chain amino acids valine, leucine and isoleucine in plants. Blocking this enzyme halts cell division and growth, leading to the gradual death of susceptible weeds. Imazethapyr is classified under HRAC/WSSA Group 2 (ALS inhibitors).

Vexor (Imazethapyr 10% SL) is diluted in the recommended volume of water and applied as a post-emergence foliar spray in soybean, using standard knapsack or boom sprayers, following the approved product label.

  • Use strictly as per the directions on the approved product label
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment during mixing and spraying
  • Avoid spray drift onto sensitive or non-target crops
  • Keep out of reach of children and away from food, feed, and water sources
  • Store in a cool, dry place in original packaging
