Maxxclo – Clodinafop-Propargyl 15% WP
Maxxclo is a herbicide manufactured by MaxxGro Agrology Limited, containing Clodinafop-Propargyl 15% as a wettable powder (WP) formulation. It is used for the post-emergence control of Phalaris minor (canary grass) in wheat. Clodinafop-propargyl is an aryloxyphenoxypropionate (FOP) herbicide that selectively controls grassy weeds without affecting the wheat crop.
As a wettable powder, Maxxclo is mixed with water before spray application. The product is intended for use strictly as per the approved crop, weed, dose and timing recommendations on the product label for wheat.

Clodinafop-propargyl is an aryloxyphenoxypropionate (FOP) herbicide that inhibits the enzyme acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACCase), which is required for fatty acid biosynthesis in grasses. Inhibition of this enzyme halts lipid synthesis in meristematic tissue, leading to growth cessation and death of susceptible grassy weeds such as Phalaris minor. Clodinafop-propargyl is classified under HRAC/WSSA Group 1 (ACCase inhibitors) and is selective for use in wheat.
Maxxclo (Clodinafop-Propargyl 15% WP) is mixed with the recommended volume of water and applied as a post-emergence foliar spray in wheat, using standard knapsack or boom sprayers, following the approved product label.
