Research & Development: The Science Behind Our Agrochemicals
Innovation is at the core of MaxxGro’s agrochemical strategy. Our dedicated R&D Centre, being established in Akbarpur Barota, Sonipat, Haryana, will serve as a hub for developing next-generation crop protection solutions that are safer, more effective, and environmentally responsible.
We have already filed patent applications for 7–8 proprietary agrochemical formulations. Our R&D programme focuses on:

Our Story & Achievements
Maxxgro Agrology Limited, originally incorporated as Tribhanga Trading Private Limited on 31st August 2018, began its journey in the agriculture industry. The company focused on trading agricultural products, including agrochemicals, pesticides, fertilizers, and insecticides. In its early years, the company concentrated on establishing a strong market presence and building relationships with key vendors and customers.
we concentrated on improving and upscaling the company by working at the ground level, strengthening our operations, and building new strategies for sustainable growth. This phase marked a turning point as we focused on enhancing efficiency, expanding our reach, and laying a strong foundation for future success.
In 2020, the company changed its name to Maxxgro Agrology Private Limited to better reflect its vision, strategic direction, and long-term goals in the agricultural sector. This rebranding positioned Maxxgro as a forward-looking organization committed to innovation and excellence.
Maxxgro Agrology successfully obtained CIB registration for 26 key agricultural products, including Atrazine 50% W.P., Bifenthrin 10% EC w/w, and Ethephon 39% S.L. This milestone enabled the company to expand its product portfolio and enhance credibility in the agrochemical market.
By March 31, 2022, Maxxgro Agrology generated a turnover of INR 2.4 Crores, reflecting the company’s consistent efforts in market expansion and customer acquisition.
The company obtained CIB registration for 129 additional products, including Acephate 50% + Imidacloprid 1.8% SP, Ametryn 80% WG, and Buprofezin 25% SC. Maxxgro Agrology achieved a turnover of INR 9.8 Crores for the financial year ending March 31, 2023, marking a significant growth compared to the previous year.

Successfully converted from a Private Company to a Public Company, complying with all regulatory norms. Obtained CIB registration for 22 additional products, including Mancozeb 75 % WP, Pretilachlor 50% E.C., and Profenofos 40% + Cypermethrin 4% E.C. Initiated the establishment of a state-of-the-art Research & Development Centre in Akbarpur Barota, Sonipat, Haryana, driving innovation in the agricultural sector.
Maxxgro Agrology is diversifying into manufacturing, setting up a manufacturing unit alongside the R&D Centre. Filed patent applications for 7-8 products, with plans for additional patents. The company aims to operate across India, initially targeting 7-8 states with plans for nationwide expansion, reflecting its ambition to become a leading agro-manufacturer and innovator.

Yes. MaxxGro is actively moving into in-house agrochemical manufacturing. Our dedicated production unit alongside the R&D Centre in Sonipat, Haryana is being set up with capacity for proprietary formulations. We have already filed patent applications for 7–8 novel agrochemical products.

Dr. Sunil Khatter brings over four decades of expertise in applied chemistry, pesticide formulation, technology development, and industrial research to Maxxgro. A retired Scientist ‘E’ from the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, he has led and monitored numerous national and international projects fostering innovation, technology transfer, and MSME growth.
With prior experience at Hindustan Insecticides Limited and global exposure through UNIDO and UNESCAP fellowships, Dr. Khatter has been instrumental in advancing sustainable agricultural practices and technology-driven solutions.
Mr. C.V. Padmanabhan
He has served as Private Secretary and Special Officer to several Union Ministers, contributing to ministerial coordination, vigilance oversight, legislative support, and cabinet documentation. Renowned for his institutional knowledge, efficiency, and integrity, Mr. Padmanabhan is respected for his legacy of trusted public service and procedural excellence.
